Vincent Raymond Gallery

August 24, 1935 — October 15, 2018

Ret. Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Raymond Gallery, of the United States Marine Corps, devoted husband to Lillie Mae Gallery for 53 years, proud father of four children, Grandfather of 13, and Great Grandfather of 15, was born August 24th 1935 in Masonville, Iowa to his parents Francis and Stella Gallery. He passed away October 15th 2018 in Denver Colorado with his family by his side.

International Man of Mystery, Seeker of Adventure, and member of the Esteemed Domain of the Golden Dragon, he demonstrated daily what it meant to live life to its fullest. Vincent R. Gallery's passing is a great loss to his family and the country as a whole. He served the nation with grace, dignity and honor, and was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor for action in Vietnam, Meritorious Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal to name a mere few of his accolades. Even though he traveled the world, experiencing a life that most could only dream of, his roots in his native Iowa defined his work ethic and drive to be the best man that he could. Even in his autumn years, he was always up for an adventure, especially when it involved his family. He was beloved by all who knew him, and for those who were fortunate enough to meet him in passing, their lives were made the better for it.

In honor of Vincent, a Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018, 10:30AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (11150 East Dartmouth Ave. Aurora,. CO 80014), Reception to follow after service in Heartlight Reception Hall. Graveside service to be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area “C” at 2:15PM.
