Vincent Hershell Sharpe

Vincent Hershell Sharpe, age 61. Born on July 28th 1963, passed away February 11, 2025.

Vince was born in California on July 28th, his family later moved to Colorado in the early 70’s. There he met his wife and started his own family.

Vince was married to Tami on November 2nd 1991. They were married for 33 years and together for 36 incredible years. On July 14th 1994 they welcomed their first child, Vincent Austin. Later welcoming their second child, Claire Ann on May 8th 1998.

Vince worked as a master mechanic and craftsman. He worked for vehicle companies like Ford as well as forklift equipment companies who were always desperate to have and keep him on their team. He also worked in restaurants while learning trades from his best friend John Nelson.

Vince enjoyed creating. He wood worked, metal worked, painted beautiful landscapes, was an excellent cook and even single handedly rebuilt his first and only vehicle, the 1971 Ford Bronco, from the chassis up in his garage. He was also an incredible musician. A talented guitar player, song writer and composer. Passing on his musical talents through his children. Not to mention his sense of humor being such a bright light in all of our lives. Vince was incredibly multi-talented, truly able to do all things he put his mind to.

Vince, a man of everything for everyone, is survived by his wife Tami Dawn, son Vincent Austin and daughter Claire Ann.

His mother Diane, sister Nicole and her family, brothers Dan, Fred, Scott and their families.

Countless friends, neighbors, nieces and nephews that he embraced as his own and his children's’ friends that he helped guide and mold into the people they are today.

Vince is preceded in death by his best friend Tom and Tom’s father, Bud Branning, who became a father to Vince, teaching him to be the strong and smart man that we was. As well as his best friend and mentor Johnny Nelson, loving step father Leo and best friend Marshall.

We will be honoring Vince on February 28th 2025 at 2pm. This will be at Horan and McConaty, located at 7577 W. 80th Ave, Arvada, co 80003.
