Vi Compton, 74, of Thornton, died July 21, 2008. She was the loving wife of 56 years to LeRoy; beautiful mother of, Katie (Jim) Carpenter, Tim (Gala) Compton, and Lee Compton; grandmother of seven; great-grandmother of nine; sister of Oliver (Arlene) Foster; and sister-in-law of Mabel (Larry) Simmons.
