Virginia L. Flis

Virginia L. (Rapue) Flis of Denver, Colorado, passed away on May 24, 2015 at the age of 93. She was greeted by her beloved father and mother, George and Margaret, husband Walter, brother George Jr., and several other half-brothers and sisters. She leaves behind her loving brother Walter Rapue and sisters Elise (Kenny) Hirsch and Patricia (Dick) Schamp, her loving children, Sharon (Wilbert) Bostrom, Barbara (Manuel) Naranjo, William Pat Flis, and Michael (Vory) Flis; her grandchildren Lisa (Steve) Johnson, Linnea (Thomas) Ferro, Connie (Vince) Beluscak, Rhonda (Ty) Derby, Melissa (Darin) Oetken, Kristie Fain, Nicole (Mike) Feagler, Howard (Monica) Fleischmann Jr., Denise (Michael) Riddleberger and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015, starting at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary starting at 7:00 PM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015, at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Polish Catholic Church, 517 East 46th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. Entombment will follow the Funeral Mass at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The family extends an invitation for a Reception following the Entombment at Horan & McConaty Reception Center, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado.
