Virginia Job

Virginia L. Job passed away peacefully in hospice care on February 26, 2022.  Virginia was born on March 20, 1933 in Nebraska City, Nebraska.  She is survived by her children, Laurie Weise, Steven Franzmann, Jerry Franzmann, Lisa Vogt, and Michael Franzmann and her step-children Betsy Tauer, Mary Job, Peggy Job, Michael Job, David Job, Jennifer Ducatte, and Steven Job. Virginia leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank R. Job, sister Margaret (Aileen) Higgins, and brothers George, Donald, and Paul Higgins.

Virginia was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska and moved to Lamoni, Iowa after the separation of her parents.  Following her high school graduation in 1951, Virginia moved to Englewood, Colorado.  She worked for the motor vehicle department at the Arapahoe County Courthouse in Littleton.  She met and married her first husband Don Franzmann, and together they raised five children.  Virginia was married to her second husband Frank R. Job.  They were happily married for 20 years.

Virginia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, visiting with friends and neighbors, watching the Broncos and the Rockies, and reading.  She loved to decorate for the holidays and loved hosting splendid Christmas and Easter parties.

Virginia was a beautiful woman, loving mother, step-mother, and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
