Virginia Spesshardt

Virginia Alverda Spesshardt, 85, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 in her home, surrounded by members of her family.

Born on October 15, 1936 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of Frank and Alverda Corbett.  Virginia  lived in Edgewater and Aurora, Colorado and worked for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service until retiring in early 1999.

Survivors include her sister Sue; children: Carol, Debra, Philip, and William; grandchildren: Gregory, Christopher, Robert, Thomas (TJ), Michelle, and Steven; and great-grandchildren: Quinten, Jax, and Ryder.  Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Frank and Willy, husband William Spesshardt Jr.; granddaughter Bridgette; and great-grandson Kaden.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Horan & McConaty - Aurora.
11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014.  Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80236.
