Virginia S. Whipple

Virginia S. Whipple, 90, passed away June 16, 2014. Beloved mother of Doris Goodteacher, Dorothy Whipple and Nancy Arellano-Torres; loving grandmother of Debbie Vigil, Katie Cardenas, Michael Vigil, Charles Vigil, Ben Laurienti, Matthew McLean, Andrew Whipple, Adam Whipple, Ashley Whipple, John Twigg and Shawn Apodaca; and proud great grandmother of 13. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Henry L. Whipple; children William C. Whipple, Ethel L. Whipple, James G. Whipple and Margaret R. Twigg Whipple; and siblings Donald Moose, Melvin Moose, Matilda Schimke, Bernice Moose, Robert Moose and Margaret Wilson. A Memorial Service to celebrate Virginia's amazing life will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Church of the Holy Redeemer, 2552 Williams Street, Denver, CO 80205. There will be a private committal at Fort Logan National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Henry. Donations are suggested to her church, in lieu of flowers.
