Vivian Doris Hugo

Vivian Doris Hugo, 88, of Boulder, Colorado died Thursday, March 5th, 2015. She was born April 6th, 1926 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to the late Mathew and Cecilia Masny. She married the late Eugene A. Hugo on November 29th, 1947. They moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1965 where they raised two loving daughters: Robin C. Grace of Florida and Alison B. Cagaanan of Colorado. Vivian was blessed with four grandchildren, Jacob and Kevin Grace, and Austin and Cody Cagaanan, whom she affectionately called ""her boyz"". Vivian is also survived by her brother Myron Masny of Arizona; and preceded in death by her brother Otto Masny of Wisconsin. Vivian's initial years were spent raising her two daughters, later taking an administrative position at NOAA in Boulder, Colorado where she stayed until retirement. Vivian enjoyed the sunrise, her dogs, hiking, coffee with friends, and dreaming of places she hoped someday to visit. Vivian had a huge heart for all animals, and never met a dog she didn't like. Vivian will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service is planned for April 20th at 11:00 am at Chautauqua Park in Boulder Colorado – at the Community House in the Grand Assembly, 900 Baseline Road, Boulder, Colorado 80302. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to be made in Vivian's memory to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, 2323 55th Street, Boulder, CO 80301.
