Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and served during WWII in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Bob and his wife relocated to Denver in 1954 where Bob worked for the Denver Post as an advertising salesman for 23 years. He was an avid horseman and longtime member of the Lakewood Riding Club. He enjoyed riding his beloved quarter horse, Poco, in the open space park on South Table Mountain near his home. Accomplished at drawing, painting, and photography, Bob belonged to the Art Students' League of Denver and had cultivated close friendships with members of the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Iona. He is survived by his sons, Bill (Alline), Colorado Springs, and Dan, Omaha, Neb.; and his brother, Frank (Lucille) Muldoon, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Rd. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 55 N Jefferson St., Monument, CO. Burial will be in the Golden Cemetery.
