Walter F. Goodwin

Walter F. Goodwin passed away on July 31 at home. Survived by his wife, Lisa Bernardi Goodwin, son Walter D., and daughter Sandra Clark. He was a wonderful husband, a great father, and a good friend to anyone who needed a friend. He was also the grandfather of Jennifer Timmons, Nick Goodwin, Lindsey Timmons, Lily Goodwin, and Nils Goodwin, and two great grandchildren, Anthony and Luca. He also has many nephews and nieces. He was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on 12/18/1929 to Marie and John Goodwin. His four brothers preceded him in death. He is a graduate of Boston University with a B.S. degree in Public Relations and Communications. He also served as a LTJG in the US Navy. Prior to forming his own company in 1980, he was Vice President and General Manager at Johns-Manville, now a Bershire Hathaway subsidiary. Memorial Services 10:00am, Monday Aug. 6, 2007 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver followed by a military service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to a favorite charity.
