Walter Vernon Schwab

Walt Schwab of Denver, Colorado passed away on March 6, 2016 at the age of 81. Walt is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty (McCulley), their two children and their families: Debbie, Sporty, Bri, Ashlie and Scooter Bandimere; Ken, Angela, Michael, Ava and Sarah Schwab; his brother Ernie Schwab of California and a multitude of extended family and friends. Walt graduated from Grand Valley High School in 1952, attended the University of Colorado and was honorably discharged from the Army in 1958. Walt had a 40 year career with the phone company. Walt enjoyed the outdoors; camping, fishing, hiking and especially gardening! He was thrilled to share his abundant crops with family and friends. Walt loved the spring and all the bright colors of the flowers, so feel free to wear bright colors in his memory. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je in his memory - PO Box 360 – Bailey, CO 80421. A service to celebrate Walt's life will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at Southern Gables Church , located at 4001 S Wadsworth Blvd – Littleton.
