Walter "Eric" Larsen

Walter ‘Eric’ Larsen died at his home on December 24, 2021 after a short illness.  He was born to Walter and Gladys Larsen on January 11, 1937.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years Colleen, daughter Torrie Hossfeld (Scott) and beloved grandchildren Anna and Tyler.  He is also survived by brothers Richard and Ronald Larsen and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Eric lived a full life.  He loved playing golf, poker, fishing, cruising and caring for his yard. He will be remembered for his kindness and his smile.

Services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on January 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM.  The family is asking everyone to meet at Staging Area A at 9:45 AM and join the funeral procession to the pavilion.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Children’s Hospital Colorado Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in memory of Eric Larsen/Fore Our Fathers.  Fore Our Fathers is charity golf tourney started by the Hossfeld family to honor the Dads we have lost to cancer. Eric loved golf and played almost every year with his family since the event began 15 years ago.
