Wanda Lee Krieger

Wanda Krieger, born in Oakland, Iowa, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on January 19, 2014 at the age of 88. Wanda was a member of Harvey Park Christian Church. She loved her family and friends. She will be remembered for her loyalty, kindness, and loving spirit. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband Almer Alan Krieger. Survived by her three children: Gary Krieger (Cynthia) of Golden, Colorado, Sheila White (Forman) of Tabernash, Colorado, and Melinda Duncan (Joel) of St. Louis, Missouri. Grandchildren: Terra Mazzeo (Anthony), Kevin, Korinne and Scott Krieger, Cassandra Kunzman (Ri), Stacy White, Daniel Duncan (Allison), and Kiley Duncan. Great grandchildren: Brexley Kunzman. Siblings: Lavon Krieger of Omaha, Nebraska, Arletta (Letty) Pattavina of Omaha, Nebraska, and Leta Wright of Council Bluffs, Iowa. A memorial service celebrating Wanda's life will be held on January 25, 2014 at 1:00pm at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO. 80227. Her joyful memories made at the Nightingale Memory Care Center in Arvada have inspired her family to request contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers. She will be greatly missed.
