Wanda Norisez

Wanda Sharon Ann Norisez, age 80, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado on May 19, 2023. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School. Mrs. Norisez was a willing volunteer, participating in Westernaires as well as the local Optimist and Amateur Radio clubs. It was during an Amateur Radio volunteer event that she met her husband, Phillip Norisez.

Mrs. Norisez loved to sew, knit, garden, cook, and host gatherings for friends and family. She loved to picnic, fish, and camp with friends and family in her beloved Rocky Mountains. She was an avid traveler, and made several trips to Europe, Mexico, Canada, and across the United States.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip; her sons, Edward and Lewis Davis; daughter, Cindy Donohue; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Anna Marie Morrow.

Services will take place at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, located at 7577 W. 80th Ave (at Wadsworth Blvd.), Arvada, CO 80003, on Wednesday, June 14th at 2pm. Flowers can be sent to this location. A gathering of friends and family will be held at Oakhurst Park West, 9311 Lark Bunting Dr., Westminster, CO 80021, directly following the service. All are welcome to join the family in the pavilion.
