Warren W. Hagist

Our beloved Warren, a devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on June 19, 2010. He was born in Great Falls, Montana on October 12th and lived in Shelby, Montana until his folks moved to Casper, Wyoming when he was a young boy. Upon graduation from Casper High School, he joined the U.S. Navy and enrolled in the V5 program at Cornell University. After the war ended, Warren returned to Wyoming and continued his education at the University of Wyoming. Warren graduated from the U of W with a BS in Geology and was immediately hired by Superior Oil Co. where he continued to work for the next 35 years. Warren and his family enjoyed living in Alaska, England, Texas and Colorado while exploring for oil in many places around the world. Warren and Marj retired to Morrison and Dillon, Colorado where they enjoyed skiing, the outdoors, golf and traveling. Warren is survived by his loving wife Marj, daughter Jill Hagist Johnson, his son Peter, their spouses Mike Johnson and Evie Hagist, and his sister Joan Harris. He has four wonderful grandsons; Kyle Johnson, Todd Hagist, Steven Hagist and Christopher Hagist, along with numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a cremation and a private funeral.
