Wava Lucille Engquist

September 18, 1926 — October 6, 2005

Wava L. Engquist, a 38 year resident of Fort Morgan, died Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Cherry Creek Nursing Center in Aurora, CO. Wava was born and grew up in the New Raymer area. After marrying Pat Engquist, they moved to Henry, Nebraska and then returned to the Fort Morgan area in 1953. She had been a member of Fort Morgan Assembly of God where she was the pianist and later, a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Brush. She was employed for 27 years at Clark Feather Manufacturing before it closed in 1986. She is survived by her son, Jerry Engquist, his wife, Marie and their son, Bryce. She is also survived by one brother, Elmo Steffen of Fort Morgan. Wava was preceded in death by her husband, Pat, her daughter, Shirley, and three of her brothers, Earl, Ken and Dale Steffen. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2005 at 11:00 am at Grace Community Church, 7200 S. Clinton St. in Englewood, CO.
