Wayne B. Martin

Wayne B. Martin, 89, of Federal Heights, Colorado passed away January 18, 2011. Wayne was a Pearl Harbor survivor, serving with the U.S. Army for 21 years, then Law Enforcement for 20 years in various locations. He retired as Chief of Police of Federal Heights. Survived by Shirley, his wife of 51 years; children, Marjorie Smith, Barbara Counts, Wayne, Jr., Juanita Holt, Wayne Kim; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 23, 2011; Memorial Service 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 25, 2011, all at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, in Thornton, Colorado. Committal Service follows at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Pavilion ""A"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado with honors rendered by the United States Army.
