Whitney C. Glover

January 23, 1987 — May 10, 2009

Whitney Glover 1987 - 2009 Whitney Chantal Glover, beloved daughter of Kenneth D. and Rebecca L. Glover, was called home to her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 10, 2009. Whitney was born at the Gunnison Valley Hospital on January 23, 1987. Whitney grew up in the Gunnison Valley and attended the Gunnison school system, graduating from GHS in 2005. She then moved to Denver and attended DADC Automotive School, graduating in December of 2006. After graduation she continued to live and work in the Denver area. Whitney loved the Lord with all her heart, and was very active in her local church. She served in the nursery, first at Rocky Mountain Christian Ministries in Gunnison, then at Jubilee Fellowship Church in Denver. Whitney loved the mountains and enjoyed X/C skiing, but Whitney's other love was all things automotive. She was an avid 4-wheel drive enthusiast, going with her parents on her first club outing at the age of 2 months. Whitney became a very skilled and responsible off-road driver, and wasn't afraid to let you know if you were someplace you shouldn't be. She and her parents often attended drag races together, and on Friday nights during her high school years, Whitney and Becky could often be seen cruising the streets of Gunnison in her custom jeep. After having been ill for several months, Whitney succumbed to complications arising from TTP and Lupus. She is survived by her parents Ken and Becky Glover of Gunnison, her fiance Christopher Parazak of Denver, her maternal grandmother Jeanne Haines of Leoti, Kansas, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, May 14th at Jubilee Fellowship Church, Highlands Ranch Campus, on South Park Circle in Littleton, Colorado, and at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 16th at Rocky Mountain Christian Ministries in Gunnison, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Rocky Mountain Christian Ministries Youth and Children's Ministries.
