Wilfred 'Wiff' Rohr

August 20, 1925 — July 23, 2012

Wilfred (Wiff) Rohr, 86, of Lakewood passed away on July 23rd after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Mary Rohr, and survived by his son, Mike Rohr and daughter-in-law Cheryl Franklin Rohr of Lakewood, daughter Melinda Jeffers-Wiggley and son-in-law Bobby Wiggley of Gainesville, GA, grandchildren Luke Jeffers, Kaycee Wright, Gregory Rohr, four great grandchildren and sister Martina DeRoo of Lakewood. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, a sixty-year member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Tihen Council 4796, and a member of the Plumbers Union Local 3 since 1959. He was an avid music lover and played in various polka bands throughout his life. Just as his music brought joy to his life his caring spirit brought joy to the lives of countless friends and family. He will be remembered as a faithful husband, a loving and wise father, and a thoughtful grandfather who was proud of his grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 with Recitation of the Rosary following at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, July 27, 2012, 10:00am at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Avenue, Englewood, Colorado 80110. Interment to follow at Littleton Cemetery, 6155 South Prince Street, Littleton, Colorado 80210. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Name Catholic Church ""The Mary's"" and sent to 3290 West Milan Avenue, Englewood, Colorado 80110.
