Willajean Cowhick

Willajean (Asher) Cowhick, 89, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away January 17, 2016. Her husband of 68 years, Thomas L. Cowhick was by her side. She was born October 14, 1926 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, the daughter of Henry and Marie Brule Asher. Surviving is her husband; her children, Jenean (Larry) Huckaby, Colleen Cowhick, Thomas V. (Marilyn) Cowhick, William (Lisa) Cowhick, Mark Cowhick, Timothy (Angela) Cowhick, James (Anne) Cowhick, Marie Cowhick Michel, Michael Cowhick; as well as fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was one of nine children and is survived by her brother Duane (Anne) Asher and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 5:00-7:00 pm and Rosary to follow at Horan & McConaty Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver, Colorado Monday, Jan. 25, 2016. The funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 2375 E. Arizona Ave. in Denver. Interment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Saint Vincent de Paul Parish (Denver).
