William Conway Carroll

William Conway Carroll (aka ""Papa Bill""), son of the late Raymond and Margaret Carroll, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2016 in Denver Colorado. Born on April 13th 1940 in Scranton, PA, he graduated from Scranton Preparatory High School in 1958 and then went on to graduate from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He then began his very long and successful career in educational publishing for children. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia Carroll, their four children and spouses Sheila and Tom Rhoads, Colleen and Michael Spiegle, Bill and Kristen Carroll, and Christine and Terrance Hunt, his 10 grand children Max, Nick and Sammy Rhoads, Jordan and Chad Spiegle, Kate and Jake Carroll, and Hannah, Logan, and Presley Hunt. He is also survived by his older brother brother Ray, his younger sister Ave and her spouse, Dick Moran. He is also survived by his Aunt RoseMary Blomberg and dozens of very close cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 7th at 11:00 am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 2250 South Harrison Street Denver, CO 80210.
