William DeBus

William "Bill" DeBus, a Colorado native, age 90 passed away on the evening of February 20, 2024. He was a graduate of Holly High School, he went on to earn his Aeronautical Engineering degree at University of Colorado. Upon graduation, he served in the US Marine Corps. He met the love of his life, Dorothy at a church dance, and were married for 59 years.  Bill was employed by Martin Marietta, where he worked his entire career. Bill loved ice hockey, fishing trips, camping and road-tripping with his wife and children. In retirement, he enjoyed going to breakfast, lunch with his Martin buddies. He also tried his hand at golf, enjoyed woodworking, road trips and his nightly LaBatt's beer.  He is survived by his brother, Robert, "Bob" DeBus, his son, Jim DeBus, his daughter, Nancy Marquez, 5 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.  He also is survived by 1 niece, 2 nephews, several cousins and one godson.   Graveside funeral services will take place at Littleton Cemetery, on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10 a.m.
