William Easler was born on November 30, 1932, to the union of William Leroy Easler and Viola Richardson, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the third of five children. He was raised with a sister Berdina and brothers Robert, Leroy and Ted. In 1950 William graduated from Bok Vocational School. After graduating from High School William enlisted into the Air Force on February 16, 1952. His travels during service included being stationed in Japan. As the loving family man that he is, William would send his military earnings back home to help take care of his younger brother. He concluded his service on March 6, 1956 and went on to study dental lab work.
After being introduced to the truth by Brother Amos Hardy, William was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on January 1,1957. During his faithful service to Jehovah, he shared in a one-hour discourse at the Kingdom Hall, spent time doing vacation pioneering in Philadelphia and attended assembly's in Canada, New York and Washington D.C.
William was united in marriage to Naomi Jones on June 11, 1960, at the Kingdom Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This union welcomed their first born, Vaughn, and second born son Todd. William decided it was time to leave Philadelphia due to high crime and lack of stable employment opportunities.
In 1976 William, Naomi and their two sons Vaughn and Todd moved to Aurora, Colorado, where his brother Leroy was already living. William worked for RTD as a bus driver for over 15 years. During his tenure there he worked odd and long hours to provide for his family. A year after arriving in Colorado their union welcomed their third born, a daughter Jill. He loved fishing, camping and taking trips with his family to explore Colorado's beautiful mountains.
After William's retirement in 1995 he loved to vacation in Hawaii, take trips to visit his brothers Leroy and Ted and spend time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to film and photograph all his adventures to capture those cherished times.
William or Bill as his family lovingly called him will always be remembered as a supportive brother, loving husband of 64 years to his wife Naomi, doting dad and grandfather.
William is preceded in death by his son Todd Easler, he is survived by his wife Naomi Easler, son Vaughn Easler, daughter Jill Easler, brother Ted Easler, grandsons Khalil, Gabriel and a host of nieces and nephews.
