William (Bill) John Faerber of Littleton, CO and formerly of Dallas, PA, passed away peacefully on Dec 24, 2024 at his memory care home in Lakewood, CO. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his death.
Bill was born on August 9, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Notre Dame School for Boys in Niles, IL in 1962 and was a brother of the Holy Cross at the Moreau Seminary at the University of Notre Dame from 1962-1968. Upon leaving the brotherhood, Bill moved to Dallas, PA and met his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth (Pillarella) Faerber. They raised their daughter, Kristen, in Dallas and moved to Littleton, CO in 2010 to be closer to her.
Bill remained a man of faith throughout his life and volunteered at his church, soup kitchen, and nursing homes as his health allowed. He was an avid gardener and reader, enjoyed music and traveling, and loved talking about current events. He was a dedicated family man - a proud and loyal son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Madge (Snyder) Faerber, and leaves behind his wife, Beth, of Littleton, CO, daughter, Kristen and her husband, Mark Celusniak, grandchildren, Camryn, Colby and Cody Celusniak of Littleton, CO, brother, James Faerber (Sharon) of Orange, VA, sister, Katherine Gonglefski (Joe) of Salem, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
His family is grateful for the team of care workers at Morrison Manor who treated him with love and respect for the last 16 months of his life.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Philip Lutheran Church in Littleton, CO on January 18 at 10:30 am and Internment at a later date at the Columbarium at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Dallas, PA.
