William Fulk

William H. Fulk (Bill) passed away on April 26th, 2022, at the age of 91.  He was born in 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky; however, his family moved to Pekin, Indiana when he was young.  Bill graduated from Indiana University with a Fine Arts degree, then served two years in the U.S. Army, after which he began working at United Airlines.   He spent his entire career with United, starting as a gate agent at Midway Airport, transferring to San Diego, and in the 60s, when United installed their first computers, Bill knew that was for him.  The family moved to the Chicago area and eventually Denver, where Bill and his wife, Willy, lived for the rest of their lives.

Bill and Willy met while both working for United in Chicago and were married for 57 years before Willy passed in 2013.  They are survived by their children, Barbara and David, and their families, Glenn, Nicholas, and Stephanie, who live in Centennial, Colorado, and Pamela, Gabrielle, and Luke, who live in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Bill continued to live independently in the family home in Centennial while taking care of his beloved dog, growing beautiful flowers every summer, and hosting neighborhood bar-b-ques.  He was an accomplished artist, a voracious reader, loved singing in the church choir, and thrived on learning.

Bill’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14th, at 11:00 am in the First Presbyterian Church of Littleton, 1609 W. Littleton Blvd.
