William John Jacoby

July 23, 1942 — October 11, 2018

William (Bill) John Jacoby, age 76, died at home in Aurora, Colorado on October 11, 2018.

He was born on July 23, 1942 in Riverton, Wyoming and graduated from Riverton High School in 1960. Bill lived in Colorado and worked at Rocky Flats and I.B.M. as a Senior Principal Engineer and a Disaster Recovery Manager. After retirement, Bill and Mary, his wife of 55 years, split their time between homes in Aurora and Dubois, Wyoming. He was a member of the Cold War Patriots and the NRA. He was a Wyoming Hunter's Safety and an NRA instructor, and held an office for the Porcupine Roads and Structures Committee.

Bill was a committed family man, avid outdoors man, and an U.S. Air Force Veteran. He received several competitive shooting awards including the NRA highest ""leg"" award. He held an Associates Degree in Business Management and a Master Certification in Disaster Recovery.

Survivors include his wife Mary, his daughter Lori Monroe (Mike), three grandsons and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Spike and Annie, his brother, Tom, his sister, Jenny, and his son, Bill Junior.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at Smoky Hill United Methodist Church, 19491 E Smoky Hill Rd, Centennial, CO 80015. Relatives and friends are welcome. Reception following.
