William R. ""Bill"" Johnson, retired Supervising Division Engineer with Johns-Manville Corporation died September 8, 2012. Preceded in death by his wife, Angie; he is survived by his daughters, Kate (Mike) Vogl and Judy (Joe) Mota; granddaughter, Courtney Ward and nephew, Louis Di Matteo. Bill was born in Newark, NJ. He served as a Tech Sgt. in the US Army Air Corps during World War II, attended Rutgers University and joined Johns-Manville in 1951, where he was employed for 31 years. He was a 6 year member of the Piscataway, N.J. Board of Education and moved to Colorado in 1972. Bill had been an Ombudsman for the Denver Regional Council of Governments for 2 years and Court Friend Volunteer for the Probate Court of the City and County of Denver. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 2, 10:30am at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 West Chatfield Avenue, Littleton, Colorado 80128. Internment was at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
