William ""Bill"" Jacob Klein Jr. passed away on April 29, 2019 in Denver Colorado. Bill was born October 1, 1926 in Sunbury, PA, to William Jacob Klein and Ethel Gertrude Geiger. He graduated from Sunbury High School in 1944 and received his bachelor's degree in foreign service at Georgetown University in 1949. Bill served in World War II from 1945-1947. Bill also went on to attend the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and Denver University Law School in 1967. He was employed at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 1962-1987.
Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara, son, Thomas (Razz), daughter, Karyl, sister, Ruth Small, brother, Richard Klein and his step-grandchildren, Gaby and Carmello.
Bill was involved for many years with St. Philomena parish and St. Vincent de Paul parish. He also attended two Super Bowls, One Sugar Bowl, One World Series and traveled to all the continents, apart from Australia.
A funeral service will be held to honor Bill on Tuesday May 7, 2019 2pm in the Horan and McConaty chapel; 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO 80246.
