William Andrew Knapp

Bill Knapp, 79, passed away December 12, 2005 after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce; children Andrea, Suzanne, Karen Dahl, Andy, Eric, Christopher, and Gregory; 17 grandchildren; and sister Lillian Marques of Long Island, NY. After retiring from the USAF with 32 years of service, Bill worked in the insurance industry at Safeco Insurance and Guaranty National Insurance Company. Visitation Thursday, December 15, 4-8 PM; Parastas (prayer vigil) at 7 PM at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver; funeral Divine Liturgy Friday, December 16, 11:30 AM at Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church, 1201 S. Elizabeth, Denver (2 blocks east of University at Arizona).
