William "Larry" Lawrence Hendershot

Larry Hendershot, 81, of Westminster, Colorado passed away peacefully, November 18th, at Winding Trails care center in Boulder, Colorado. Larry was born to the late William F. & Katherine Hendershot on October 8, 1942, in Elkhart, Kansas.

Larry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norah Ann Hendershot; Son, William ‘Randy’ (Michele ‘Shelly’) Hendershot; Daughter, Jill Ann (Frank) Roth; Grandchildren, Ryan William Hendershot, Kayla Reneé Hendershot, Kelsi Ann and Jessica Lee Roth; Sister, Doris Kay (John) Greer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Larry is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Alan (May Martinez) Hendershot.

Larry had many passions but what he loved most was Parkinson’s Cycling Class which he was a founding member; In 2011-2012 he was President of Rotary Club of Broomfield Crossing; 1976 he became JCI Senator at JCI Congress in St. Louis.

Larry worked for IBM for 19 years, StorageTek 11 years and retired owning his own business, AMG.

Larry donated his brain to Lewy Body Dementia science research through: The Brain Donor Project. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Brain Donor Project in memory of Larry.

Larry’s Celebration of Life will be Dec. 13, 2023 11:00 am, officiated by Reverend Edward Black, at Westminster’s City Park Recreation Center off of 104th and Sheridan. A reception lunch will immediately follow the service at the same location.
