William S. Loedy Sr., born in Szombathely, Hungary, passed peacefully into eternal life on September 21, 2015 at the age of 76. William was a refugee of war and escaped to New York in his early years. As a young man, William received a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management at Cornell University before earning his CPA certification in both New York and Colorado. He married Revel L. DeBoer and had three lovely children. He was an avid motorcyclist, gardener, hunter and chef; he enjoyed nature and spending time with family and loved ones. A devout Catholic, William was an active member of several community organizations including Sertoma and the Knights of Columbus. William was recently retired after 50 years in public accounting. A bright and charismatic man, William profoundly touched everyone he met. He is survived by friends and family far and near, and by his brother and sister: Ed and Marika; three children: Sara, Nancy and Will; and a granddaughter, Hannah. A Memorial Mass will be held in William's honor at 10:30 am on Friday, Oct 2 with a reception to follow. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, Oct 1, 2015 at 7pm.
