William Thomas Mason

William Mason, 79 of Centennial, Colorado, passed away October 16, 2019 at Garden Terrace Alzheimer’s Center in Aurora from dementia and kidney disease. He was born October 4, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to Elizabeth B. Mason and Col. Ben A. Mason Jr.

William (Bill) is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Pam Mason.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Mason and his father, Col. Ben A. Mason Jr. Bill is survived by his sister, Sandra Mason and his son, Michael R. Mason.

He graduated from Marion Military Institute following High School and served in the Texas Air National Guard. Bill graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.

Bill was a Human Resources manager for Mobil Oil Corporation for the majority of his career. He was a pilot and a short wave radio operator. At one time, Bill liked to climb 14ers and he enjoyed skiing. He loved dogs.

His memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 11:00am at Horan & McConaty on County Line Road.
