William W. McCaw,, M.D. Jr.

William W. McCaw, Jr. died peacefully at his home. Proud father of Brigid (Bill), Sean (Laurie), Beth, Megan (James) and Brendan (Cynthia). Loving grandfather of Melissa, Ryan, Lauren, Alex, and Devin. Beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Served with the 12th Armored Div. in WW II, receiving the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Expert Infantryman Badge. Physician, graduated from the Univ. of Colo. in 1952 and practiced psychiatry for 60 years. Medical director of Mt. Airy Psychiatric Center for 21 years. Life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. His wisdom and kindness were cherished gifts to his family, friends, colleagues and patients. Rosary will be held 2:00 PM Sat., July 14, Horan and McConaty, 1091 S. Colo. Blvd. Funeral Mass 9:30 AM Mon., July 16, Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to The Denver Hospice, or to Catholic Charities.
