Our beloved husband, father, & grandfather William Thomas “Bill” Roche III, passed away August 13, 2022 at 76 years old, surrounded by his family. His life was filled with kindness & love as anyone who ever had the honor & privilege of meeting/knowing him would have to agree.
Bill was born January 31, 1946 in Denver, CO & attended Saint Catherines, later going on to graduate from Saint Michaels in Santa Fe, NM, where he was known as a class clown, loving, & a kind friend.
Bill married his high school sweetheart & the love of his life, Doris Jane Satriano. After getting married, the next day, moved to Detroit where he worked at Chevrolet in the warrantee department and had their 1st born, Denise & 2nd born, Lisa. They made their final move, back to where it all began in Denver, where they had their 3rd and last child, Billy and where Bill worked for DIA as an associate manager for the airline industry. They also had the beautiful privilege of being the guardians for their 2 grandchildren Jessica & Timmy.
Bill loved spending time with friends & family and loved to joke & laugh with them, never having a dull moment. He also had interests in camping, traveling, & watching sports.
Bill was proceeded in death by his father, William Thomas Roche Jr.; his mother, Margaret Mary Lidinsky; sister, Harriet Balance Roche; daughter, Denise Marie Whitehurst; & 3 grandchildren, Emily Ann Roche, Amanda Christine Whitehurst, & Alicia Danielle Whitehurst. Bill is survived by his wife, Doris Jane Roche; 2 children & their spouses, Lisa & Shannon and William & Theresa; son-in-law, Tim; 15 grandchildren; & 10 great-grandchildren.
Family & friends services include: Viewing to be held at Horan & McConaty, 3020 Federal Blvd, Denver on Thursday August 25th from 4-6pm, with Rosary to immediately follow. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena, 4200 Federal Blvd., Denver on Friday August 26th at 10am and Funeral procession will proceed to Mount Olivet Cemetery for his final resting place. A Reception will follow the graveside at the Denver Elks Lodge #17 at 2pm.
