William ""Bill"" Ryan, 61, of Denver passed away on January 3, 2012. William J. Ryan was a lifelong resident of Denver. He was raised in the Vale Verde/Westwood neighborhoods. Mr. Ryan was a 1968 graduate of West High School, also having attended Regis and Cathedral High Schools. Bill attended Metro State College for 2yrs. He was a career employee with Mountain Bell, later known as Quest Telecommunications. Known for his affability and good sense of humor, Bill seldom met anyone who disliked him. He has vicariously been described as loyal, reliable, steadfast, and always available to help when asked. William was generous to a fault, especially towards those in need, and his family. He will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne (Lonskey) Ryan. Survived by his brothers; John and Charlie, and also by his nephews; John, Tim, Michael, Patrick, Kevin, and Shaun Ryan. Consider donations to Webwhispers.org in his memory. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church located at 355 South Navajo Street in Denver.
