William R. ""Will"" Seaman

January 8, 1968 — August 4, 2014

It is with a deep and heavy heart that we announce the passing of William Seaman, age 46, of Westminster, Colorado. Will passed away unexpectedly at home on August 4, 2014. We lost a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend and most importantly a loving husband and father. Will was born in Syracuse, New York on January 8, 1968. He was a proud man who loved his family more than anything that life had to offer. He is survived by his wife, Lisa, children, Ian and Adam, parents, R. Michael Seaman and Anna O'Grady, siblings, Wanda, John, and Michelle, a niece Hannah, two nephews Thomas and Evan, and a host of other relatives and friends. Will touched the lives of many with his unique sense of humor, and his unprecedented witty nature. His first job was at McDonalds in Oswego, New York while still in high school. It was there where he met Lisa Golding, the future mother of his yet unborn children. In 1987, Will moved to Colorado to explore the West and was joined there a few years later by his longtime girlfriend and future wife. He worked as a chef at Steak and Ale Restaurants where he met several of his dearest and closest friends. He also worked at R&R Tool Service where he fixed pneumatic and hydraulic tools. Then, on May 24, 1997, Will and Lisa were married in Oswego, New York wearing a top and long coat tails. They continued to live in Colorado until Ian, their first child was born. Will then moved his family back to New York, in 2001 where they purchased a fixer upper home. The Seaman family lived nine wonderful years in New York, sharing their lives with family and friends and had another son, Adam. It was during those years Will became a stay-at-home Dad. He also completely renovated their home, making numerous improvements and, when they sold their house in 2009, they made a handsome profit. In 2009, he moved his family back to Colorado there where he lived until his passing. In all the years as a stay-at-home dad, Will enjoyed cooking all the family meals. He especially loved preparing Thanksgiving meals each year, baking pies from scratch and all the fixings. He even baked all the family birthday cakes. He fixed the family vehicles when they required fixing. Will also would sew the buttons on his wife's work pants and make her laugh and smile most times. He would pitch a tent in the back yard for the boys, making s'mores by the fire pit. He also cut his boys' hair and fixed computers for the family and many of his friends. Will coached his sons' soccer teams, took his sons fishing and on many memorable family vacations. Will raised two wonderful children who will surely miss all things their daddy did in their lives. William was also an accomplished musician and loved music of all kinds. He really loved his guitars. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
