William Henry Skitt II

On April 17, 2020, William “Bill” Skitt, my husband and best friend passed away.

Bill started his life in Ft. Collins, CO where he was born on October 12, 1947. The son of Eva and Preston Skitt.

In 1968, Bill married his wife Sandi, in Sterling, CO after moving to Greeley so Bill could complete his college education at UNC, they began their journey thru life.

After Bill graduated, he was employed in retail and later worked at the casinos in Blackhawk, CO.

During our journey, we had one amazing daughter, Cristy Smith and she gave us two wonderful grandchildren, Brittney Nelligen and Bryce Smith.

Bill leaves a loving family which includes two brothers, Don and Preston Skitt; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws and their families; along with many nieces and nephews, including grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Bill loved to golf and had a wonderful sense of humor.

He was also a loving, kind and giving man who is being missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held later this summer.
