William T. Slamkowski

Bill Slamkowski, 49, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 of a sudden cardiac arrest as he was doing what he loved: riding his bike. Bill will be missed dearly by his mother, Kathleen Slamkowski (Highland, IN), brothers and sisters: John J. (Deirdre/Mickey), Susan (Stuart) Williams, Michael (Monica), Patty, and David, and his much loved nieces and nephews. Bill was blessed to have an especially close relationship with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John S. Slamkowski, his sister-in-law, Nancy Slamkowski, and nephew, Tony Williams. Bill's love of nature fostered his enthusiasm for mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling. He attended Bishop Noll Institute, Villanova University, and Fordham University Law School. Currently he was employed at Jackson Kelly Law Firm. Bill's energy, compassion, sense of humor, and contagious laugh will be missed by all. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Friday 4/26/13 from 5:00 to 7:30 at Walker Fine Art 300 W. 11th Ave # A in Denver, Colorado. A memorial will be held in Northwest Indiana at a later time.
