William L. ""Bill"" Sopris

Bill, 73, of Denver, passed on April 9, 2017. He was born on March 31, 1944 in Denver, Colorado to the late Alan & Elsie Sopris. He is survived by his children, Carol Lee (James) Rogers, Kathy Sopris, Marciano Sopris, Andy (Kim) Montoya, Robert Montoya, Edwina (Matt) Cummisky; grandchildren, Cecily Sopris, Kayla (Samuel Huizar) McArthur, Denice Giron, Alicia Compoz, Andrew, Dominic, Garrett, Cherish, Desiree (Darold) Giron; great-grandchildren, Lily Montoya, Jase Compoz, Silas Compoz, Heavely, Nilayah, Zyriah Huizar, Samuel Huizar, Jr., Zaniah, Alexandria, and Jordin Quinonez; siblings Audrey ""Butch"" (Ray) Romero, Henry ""Pete"" (Maryann) Sopris, JoAnne (George) Peters, Ryan (Barbara) Marquez; former wife, Beverly Montoya, and many other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alan & Elsie Sopris and siblings Kathy Marquez and Toni Saavedra. Funeral Services with visitation 1 hour prior will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, Co 80122.
