William M. Sorber

Reverend Mr. William M. Sorber, retired permanent deacon, of Aurora, passed away July 29, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born April 7, 1932 to William and Thelma (Steeleman) Sorber in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Survivors include his wife Evelyn (Koppie) Sorber, son Kert (Paula) Sorber; daughter Kimberly (Dan) Diller; grandchildren Matt (Diana) Sorber, Loren (Jessica) Sorber, Regina (Tyler) Lawson, Karla Diller, Garrett Sorber and Kellen Sorber; great grandson Mason. His family will greet friends beginning at 5:00 PM on Monday, August 4, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue in Aurora. Evening prayer will begin at 6:30 followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5, at 10:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Avenue in Aurora. A light reception will follow at the church. Burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver at 1:30 PM.
