William Joseph Thomas

William J. Thomas, 82, of Denver, passed away March 6, 2014. An Air Force veteran from the Korean Conflict, Bill was a past commander of the American Legion Post 1. He worked for General Iron Works and Lockheed Martin. Preceded in death by his wife LaVonne, he is survived by his son Donald (Mary-Pat), daughter Cindy (Lee) Larsen, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Service 10:30 Thursday, Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Military honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 1, 5400 E.
