William Wallace Turner, Jr. (Bill), 74, passed away February 20th, 2017. He was born in Titusville, PA. and was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, John and Ronald. He is survived by his wife Sharon of 50 years and his two children, Robert Turner and his wife Terry, Tonja Zabel and her husband Dennis. He has three grandchildren, Zona Schnorr, Dru McMullin, and Kaitlyn Turner and one great- grandson, Caydin Schnorr, who was his pride and joy and shares a birthday with. He is also survived by his two brothers, Richard Turner of Titusville, PA (Anne), and Jerry Turner of Titusville, PA (Martha), and sister-in-law Esther Turner along with several nieces and nephews. Bill graduated from Titusville High School in 1961 in Titusville, PA. and immediately enlisted in the U.S Air Force. He spent four years in the Air force and was honorably discharged as an Airman Second Class in July of 1965. He met his wife Sharon while he was stationed in Colorado Springs, CO, in 1963. He continued his life in Aurora, Colorado where he married Sharon on June 18th, 1966. He worked for Ralston Purina for 30+ years. He retired in January of 2006 while residing in Byers, CO, where he finished his life in his dream house on land with his wife and family.
