Bill passed peacefully from this life the morning of November 23rd, 2015 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers during the last days of his life. He was 83 years old. Bill is survived by his wife; Gillian, Daughters; Julia, Louisa; and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill was born February 24, 1932 in Portsmouth, England to Maud Rosetta May and Col. William Thomas Warren of British Royal Marines. He had a rough start in life; he was born with a gastric stomach and was in hospital until he was two years old. Then at the age of eight he was evacuated during the war, all the children were labeled with next of kin and given gas masks as they were taken by train to a little village called Mottisfont. They were taken to a school house where the local residents came in to look them over, as if they were purchasing cattle. Bill was a typical boy, always falling and cutting his knees and on this particular day he had a bandaged knee, because of this- he was the last child to be taken in by Mrs. Brown. Due to the war he only went to school three mornings a week, he always felt he lacked a good education. Once the war was over and he was able to return to his family, he was of working age. He was hired and strictly trained by Mr. Case and became a clerk in an estate office. Bill credited who he was today, to this man because he took an interest in him and saw potential. Years past and then on day he saw a beautiful young lady in a shop. He asked the lady behind the counter who she was, the lady said that's our Jill and asked her to call her and tell her she forgot something to make her come back. She did, called him a ""silly bugger!"" From that day he was smitten, with her. Jill had a daughter, Julia. Bill loved and raised her as his own and in 1970 Bill and Jill were married. On February 25, 1980, their daughter Louisa was born. At the age of 50, Bill wanted more opportunity and on February 26, 1982, he moved his family, including the dog, to the USA and the great state of Colorado. He was driven to succeed and create a better life for his family. He never shied away from hard work; he delivered newspapers, worked as a car salesman at Jack Kent Cadillac while going to school to obtain his Real estate, Appraisers and auctioneers license. He was fortunate to get in with the SBA, they valued his honesty and integrity and knew they could trust his work. Bill worked with the SBA for 26 years until he retired. Bill was a generous, fun-loving, witty, compassionate man, with very little patience! He always had a joke to tell. He loved his family, enjoyed Golf. He loved big band music; Count Basie, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Shirley Bassey and most of all Frank Sinatra! One of Bill's favorite quotes of Sinatra was ""You gotta love livin"", baby, 'cause dyin' is a pain in the ass!"" Much like Sinatra, Bill did it ""his way"". He will be greatly missed.
