William Marshall 'Wes' Westbrook

August 18, 1943 — November 29, 2016

William Marshall ""Wes"" Westbrook born 8/18/1943 entered into eternal life on 11/29/2016. Wes played football at University of Alabama during Bear Bryant's tenure. He played with Joe Namath in the Orange Bowl and played in a Sugar Bowl. After graduating from Alabama, Wes entered into active duty for the Air Force. He was trained as a navigator and served in SAC. He then served in South East Asia during the Vietnam War. After completing his tour, he left the Air Force in 1970. After leaving the Air Force he worked in Atlanta for CNS Bank. He and a partner moved to Denver to start Galaxy Carpet. After selling Galaxy Carpet he invested in Builders Kitchen Center. When he was in Thailand he met his loving wife Susan. They were married September 4th, 1971. He is survived by his wife Susan and sister Anne Lowe. A Graveside Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Two-thirty in the Afternoon.
