William D. ""Bill"" Zink

William D. (Bill) Zink, Jr. entered into eternal life on January 10, 2015; he was 84. Originally from Atlanta, GA., Bill joined the Air Force in the 1950's and was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver. He was a long time resident of Denver where he raised his family. He moved to Anniston, AL. in 1981 to work at Ft. McClellan Army Base. He was a long time resident of Anniston and was dedicated to his volunteer work with his church and Meals-On-Wheels. Bill left Alabama and lived a short time in Florida. He returned to Denver in 2009 until his death. He is survived by five children, David Sweeney, Steve Zink, Pat Zink, Mike Zink, Christine Zink-Goettel, and four grandchildren Allison, Jennifer, Tara and Erica. Services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Alzheimer's Association are requested.
