William "Bill" Parker

William (Bill) Eugene Parker, 77 of Aurora Colorado passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, January 30th 2023.

Bill was the only child born to Dorothy Jane (Utterback) Parker and William F Parker. He was born in Paris, Illinois on Wednesday, February 21, 1945.

Bill lived in Paris until he joined the Army in 1962 and after a tour in Kaiserslautern, Germany with the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment he was stationed at Fort Mead, Maryland where he met his future wife Linda Gail Cunningham.

United for 57 years of marriage to Linda, together they had 2 daughters: Theresa and Pamela and 6 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Madeleine, Michael, Matthew and Christopher.

As Administrative Manager for IBM, Bill and his family lived in many places. These included Germany twice, Missouri, Connecticut and Colorado, where he finally retired to live the rest of his life.

Bill enjoyed martial arts, skiing, both snow and water, riding his motorcycle and attending New Life Community Church of Aurora. He loved working on his house and taking care of his yard.

A service is scheduled for 11 am on February 21, 2023 at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home 11150 E Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014 with reception to follow at the facility.
