William “Bill” Roger Saetveit, aged 76, went to be home with the Lord on May 3, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on October 21, 1945, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin then later attended Luther College in Iowa. Bill received his MBA from Indiana University in 1970, and worked as a CPA for nearly 50 years, becoming partner in his own firm in 1977.
He is survived by his wife Jan, his children Amy, Stacy, and Andy, and his five grandchildren: Logan, Blake, Simon, Alex, and Ziva.
Bill was a smart, kind, gentle, and generous man who enjoyed time with family, travel, music, tennis, and his beloved Colorado Rockies.
A celebration of Bill's life will take place on June 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 5303 East County Line Road, in Centennial. This service will be livestreamed and you may join on the day of his service with the following link: https://bxcited.com/william-saetveit/
Bill would want everyone to be comfortable, so please feel free to dress casually (no tie required) and consider wearing purple - for his beloved Rockies and the color representing pancreatic cancer awareness. Light food, beverages, and fellowship will follow the service.
Those wishing to honor Bill’s life can make a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network ( pancan.org ), or another charitable cancer organization of your choice.
