William 'Duane' Ruybal

William Duane Ruybal, age 51, slipped away peacefully, surrounded in love and peace at Swedish Hospital on Sunday, February 7, 2021 after a long battle back from Cardiac Arrest on December 25, 2020. He finally succumbed to the numerous complications that continued after his cardiac arrest.

Born May 10, 1969 in Denver, Colorado, he lived in Southwest Denver and was a Construction Supervisor for companies such as DRG Construction and Gilmore Construction until his retirement in 2018 when he took over full time Grandpa duties.

Survivors include his wife, Jodi Ruybal who met and fell in love while still in high school, their three cherished children, Nikole Denine Ruybal “Niki D” (Derrick), Marcus Taylor Ruybal (Luz), Gerard Angelo Ruybal, and Honorary daughter Danae Justine Archuleta (Blake), six beautiful granddaughters, Lilyanna Marcelina Ruybal (11), Elyjah Devynne Garcia (10), Anelena Miki Garcia (9), Luna Mia Ruybal (8), Justynne Angelee Garcia (7) and Priscilla Nicole Garcia (3), beloved Mother, Priscilla Ruybal, Mother and Father in-law, Andy and Anita Archuleta, sisters, Lydia Ruybal and Paula Sandoval, sisters in-law, Lenni Bower, Andrea Koblischke, brothers in-law, Rich Koblischke, Angelo Sandoval and Dusty Bower as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his Father, William S. Ruybal and brother in-law, Justin Andrew Archuleta

Viewing will be at 1:00p.m. and Rosary will follow at 2:00p.m, Sunday, February 14th 2021 at Horan & McConaty at 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227

Funeral mass will be held at 10:30a.m. Tuesday, February 16th 2021 at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 2190 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80219.
