Willow Shiloah Cole

From the start of Willow Shiloah Cole's journey into our family and all along the way we have grown to love and cherish him. Though we did not get to spend time with him outside of the womb we were able to create a bond with him during pregnancy and solidify that relationship as we held his precious body. From the first knowledge of a positive pregnancy he was greeted with excitement and love from his parents and siblings. The hopes and aspirations were enormous. When it was discovered that he was not going to live very long past birth it was heartbreaking. We came to terms and know that God has a plan. His responses and behavior in the womb were identical to any other baby, and we spent time talking to him and praying with and for him. The love of family and exceptional friends was like being lifted up and carried as we fell to pieces. Our strength is nothing without a foundation. Our foundation is in our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ; He made it possible for everyone on this earth to live again through His atonement. This allows for us to be together as families forever if we choose to be sealed on earth. Willow's passing has been sad and unwanted, but we are strong and understand that if it is in God's plan we will be together again, re-united in the glorious day of resurrection to spend time and all eternity together. We testify of this and love Willow very much and will miss him. During our time with him we created lasting memories and experiences that will never be forgotten.
