Wilma Margaret Dorothy Griffith

Wilma (Krueger) Griffith, daughter of Chris and Elsie (Eichberger) Krueger, was born December 8, 1921. She was baptized January 1, 1922 and confirmed November 10, 1935 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Foster, NE. She graduated from Pierce High School, Pierce, NE in 1939 and moved to Denver, CO in 1953. She married the late Lester Griffith on April 11, 1959 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Denver and transfered to Trinity Lutheran Church in Denver on January 2, 1979. She worked as a legal secretary for 3 years and in banking for over 40 years. She retired in 1984. Wilma was called to eternal rest on Sunday, July 20, 2008. She is survived by two brothers, Delbert, and William Krueger and three sisters, Viola Graham, Darlene Bassford and Carole Liebert plus many nieces and nephews. Was was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Dorthy Baker and four brothers, George, Melvin, Raymond and Gene Krueger. Wilma will be laid to rest next to her husband, Lester, at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 9:30AM at staging area ""B"". A service of rememberance will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4225 West Yale Ave., Denver, 80219 at 10:30AM. A visitation will held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, 80227.
